He has served as Project Manager & Landscape Architect for numerous projects, providing him with expertise in public presentations, community outreach, goal setting, project administration, design development, quality assurance control, maintaining project budgets and schedules. He has initiated and established collaborative relationships with local community groups, agencies and public officials; generated the scope of work, schematic design and final design development by conferring with client and project team professionals and provided project administration services including daily, weekly & monthly reports, review / approval of shop drawings, site observation and site meetings. Mr. Anderson has also managed team production of final construction packages, specifications, cost estimates and bid packages ensuring projects meet established goals, federal, state and city codes, regulations and guidelines and are sustainable / LEED compliant. Mr. Anderson prepares and presents illustrative site plans and presentation drawings of projects for public information meetings and hearings and implements comprehensive quality assurance / control program.
In his extensive 35 years of landscape architectural experiences, Mr. Anderson has managed team production of countless construction documentation packages, specifications, cost estimates and bid packages. As a longtime registered landscape architect, and certified arborist, he skillfully breaks down each project into its relevant parts to identify their significance within its larger environmental context. His many completed landscape project represent a methodical synthesis of intricate complimentary and sometimes competing forces - natural and manmade, urbane and primitive. Utilizing careful and thoughtful research and reasoning, Mr. Anderson diligently fulfills client goals while resolving site specific conditions and challenges. His all-inclusive collaborative process consistently reveals inimitable designs that benefit clients, local communities and create new paradigms for contemporary landscapes.
