ERIE CANAL PLAYGROUND IN DEWITT CLINTON PARK

Reconstruction of an existing playground, including two swing sets, large pre-teen play equipment with overhead exercise stations, with custom designed spray shower area including custom water spray arch and three precast concrete spray frogs, and, in defferince to the horse stables on 52nd Street, three precast concrete horses. Because the site had a very shallow bedrock depth, the play equipment was built with connected sill plate to avoid rock excavation and concrete footings The playground included a large super-graphic image of the Erie Canal, from Lake Erie to New York City. Construction administration, site meetings, fabricator/subcontractor coordination.
